So much for A2 before Hook! I wisely postponed due to the impending weather. I'm heading down the week after Hook, so not too shabby...wow, did we get CLOBBERED with snow. A frikkin mess. I shoveled today for damn near 3 hours. Great core work!
This past week was good, all things considered. The schedule is insane now with college, but I'm managing. After Monday's 1x40, Tuesday was a rest day. A great rest day, apparently, as was evident by Wednesday's 2x20. 98% for each. The goal was 95%, but I felt great and nailed em both at 98. Very motivating. Wednesday was 90 minutes endurance on the TT bike, in position. First TT bike ride. Not bad. Friday I did 30 minutes core and 30 minutes easy on the TT rig. Yesterday I did nothing but watch the snow get dumped, and watched some movies. The Hurt Locker, and Inglorious Basterds. Watched that one 2x. Great flick. Hurt Locker, eh...I'll have to watch it again. Lots of interruptions from the kiddies, so I need to watch again.
Today, I shoveled. Then I rode the TT rig on the trainer. 2x20 and 1x10 at 92%. Funny how getting on the TT bike, 92% feels like 98%! I'll acclimate quickly. I always do.
Another busy week ahead of me. Excited to see some VO2 Max intervals in the plan. Right now, I'm watching the Superbowl. Really, the commercials. The game is great, too, but I don't have any stake in who wins, as I couldn't care less about either team. The commercials have not disappointed. My favorite so far? Duh, the Motorola commercial with Megan Fox! Yes, please.
Have a great week!
